ASI-WAS Human-Animal Studies Fellowship Program
Wesleyan Animals Studies was happy to partner with the Animals and Society Institute from 2011-2015 to co-host summer fellowships for animal studies scholars. In The Fall of 2016 we hosted Fellow Travelers. We will continue to host conferences and speakers, offer programming, and support students interested in Animal Studies.
The ASI-WAS Fellowship Program was an annual multi-week summer residency that brought together Animal Studies scholars with PhDs,and advanced ABDs; who were actively working in the field of Animal Studies. Chosen scholars were awarded a stipend and were in continuous residence at Wesleyan for the fellowship period and participated in the intellectual life of the Program through participating in a series of workshops and guest lectures.
